Reviews
Our go to dinner spot when we stay in Echuca. Been here a number of times and each time the food has been great. Beautiful dishes, tasty and full of flavour. Umami in Moama!
The Chefs tasting menu is delicious, a generous amount of food for the price. We had excellent service and great cocktails.
Only issue - the plates come out too quick, we weren't finished first course and the second course was brought out (it was maybe 4 minutes apart). I'd suggest a lather gap between courses.
Everything tasted amazing and they were nice enough to swap the oysters for another starter for us.
The menu items are pricey but the Chefs tasting had great value for the variety and delicious flavours.
Looking for that special place, fantastic food, great ambience and topped off with good wines and/or that special cocktail then this is the venue.
The Junction was recommended by a friend and what a pleasant discovery it turned out to be. We decided to do a selection of the small plates to experience the various flavours from the kitchen.
The pictures need no explanation except to say they consisted of salmon, pork belly, oysters and prawns.
We decided to finish with a cheese platter and coffee.
Can highly recommend the Junction. πππππ
I had dinner at the Junction last week. It was a nicely presented meal. The zucchini flower entree was delicious, with well balanced flavours in the accompanying salad. The Margra lamb was tasty and tender, but I felt the dish needed something astringent to cut the richness of the lamb. I grow lamb commercially and eat a lot of lamb at home, so I'm a lamb convert, but for people who don't eat much lamb, the richness might have been too much. A sauce with the flavour and astringency of sloes or damsons would cut that richness.
The girls serving were delightful and my query about the lamb dish was answered willingly and knowledgeably.
I thought for the quality of the food, that dinner was very reasonably priced and I shall definitely return next time I'm in Echuca.
We couldnβt say enough about our meal here. The moment you walk in you know the night is going to be special.
The staff really were amazing and took time to explain the food and the paired drink.
With any 7 course meal you know itβs going to be small but truly, we felt very fulfilled and almost sad to leave.
Our warmest thanks to all staff for a special night.
Lovely atmosphere, music was spot on, and plenty of room. Lighting is dim, so menu reading is difficult without your phone light.
Service was good, however food options without nuts were vertically zero. Sadly I was unable to dine, due to not being able to get a meal without nuts. Given this has never happened to me before, it was disappointing, but I should have rung to discuss prior and did not. No options were given to prepare a meal without nuts
Once staff realised the issue. Not ideal.
I would say this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. What an ambience it was, that was just so cosy. Had one of the best wagyu steak with its price, combined with another vegan option meal together, such a beautiful experience.
I strongly recommend this place for you to celebrate any occasion. The services will help you with any occasion just because how great they are. I would surely be back for another dinner.
Thanks!
We stayed nearby and decided to eat dinner here. The meals were a bit dearer then the average pub meal and a bit smaller too. The quality of meal was ok and the next morning we were in a rush so decided to have breakfast here. We paid a decent price for breakfast I think around 22 dollars for mine and 18 for my wife and assumed the make your own coffee was free as it was beside the continental breakfast. When I paid for the meal I was charged extra for the coffee and was surprised as this was not mentioned.
